Gary received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Astronautical) from
Arizona State University in 1969. He next attended Central Missouri State University where he graduated in
1974 with a Master of Science degree with a field of specialization in Safety. Gary obtained his Ph.D. in
Industrial Engineering (Human Factors/Ergonomics) from Texas Tech University in 1983.
Gary has held many progressively responsible positions in the United States Air Force, industry and academics.
He founded Analytica Systems International in 1981 with the intention of using his diverse knowledge of human factors, ergonomics and safety engineering to proactively improve the human experience in our manufactured environment.
Gary has served as an expert witness in hundreds of litigated matters since he founded ASI. His unique educational
and experiential background, combined with his meticulous attention to detail provide ASI's attorney clients with exceptionally
high quality reports, qualified expert testimony and effective technical case management.
Gary is the author of several technical papers spanning a variety of fields and he has published a book, Innkeeper's Liability Management, which provides the innkeeping
industry with a single source for information on identifying, evaluating and controlling hazards typical to the
business of operating a hotel or motel. His book can be purchased from Lawyers and Judges Publishing.
His next book will be available in the near future and will be an authoritative treatise on the causes of and preventions
for pedestrian falling incidents.
Gary has made many professional presentations, sharing his knowledge of human factors, ergonomics and safety with
diverse audiences nationwide.
Gary keeps his knowledge current by teaching a variety of advanced courses in the college of engineering at the
University of Arizona.
